The College is seeking an exceptional leader to take the institution into the next phase of its significant history. As Director this person will safeguard and develop the College’s community and academic life, ensuring that all members and staff are enriched by their time here. They will be responsible not only for the internal and operational running of the College, but also serve as a crucial ambassador, working externally with a broad range of distinguished figures and key stakeholders from all walks of life. Building upon Major-General Andrew Ritchie’s exceptional work, the College’s next Director has an outstanding opportunity to further solidify and develop Goodenough’s impact both locally, nationally and internationally.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate proven success at board or equivalent level with strong leadership and management skills gained in the educational, diplomatic, military, commercial, not for profit or public sectors. A dynamic and experienced senior figure is required, perhaps seeking a fresh challenge after a career in another field.

We are currently recruiting for a Day Reception Supervisor to cover maternity leave for approximately 9 - 12 months.
As the Day Reception Supervisor you will assist in managing the reception areas at Goodenough College. You will be professional, enthusiastic, self -motivated and well organised with previous experience of working in a 3 or 4 star hotel reception or equivalent corporate environment.
Through your customer service and supervision skills you will ensure a high standard of service is given at all times. You will be approachable and flexible, performance orientated, be able to motivate others and have the ability to problem solve. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task under pressure and be responsible for setting the tone of the organisation and enjoy leading teams.
