TEDxGoodenoughCollege 2015 - "The Missing Link"

TEDxGoodenoughCollege takes place on May 15th and interest has been so keen that tickets have already sold out.

However, what makes TEDxGoodenoughCollege so special is that wherever you are in the world you can enjoy the talks, by watching the event live online. The live stream will start at 18:00 (GMT), the same time as the event itself, and can be viewed here: livestream.com/tedx/goodenough2015.

This year the theme is: "The Missing Link"- The universe is an interconnected whole. From the ingredients of the human body to the dark matter, connection is existential. 

There will be 12 speakers, including current Members and Alumni of the College. Talks include:

"Beyond the Ballot Box? Young Women and Political Engagment"

Speaker Kate Lonie (WGH 12-13) is a PhD candidate in the Department of Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney.

"Creativity and Engineering"

Speaker Tempest van Schaik (WGH 12-14) is a Scientist at Science Practice, a London-based Research and Design company.

"Cancer Evolution: How we can use nature's most powerful force to better therapies and improve survival"

Speaker William Cross (WGH 12 - present) is a PhD candidate at Bart's Cancer Institute, working in the Evolution in Cancer Laboratory.
