College Opera "Too Hot To Handel" is a Great Success

Last week's performances at Goodenough College of "Too Hot To Handel", an original comic opera, have been hailed as a 4 star success by The Times. Presented by the College and the Armonico Consort, The Times extolled the "wit and fun of this two-hour evening...the high musical standards and staging, done on a frayed shoestring and shedloads of imagination."

The production was directed by College Member Emma Rivlin and featured College Members in the chorus. All performances were extremely well-attended and the audience thoroughly enjoyed themselves, both those new to opera and enthusiasts.
