TEDxGoodenoughCollege 2016: Breaking Boundaries

On Saturday 21st May, Goodenough College will host its 6th TEDxGoodenoughCollege event in the historic Great Hall of London House. The theme for this year’s event is Breaking Boundaries.

A diverse range of speakers including Goodenough College Members and Alumni will share their ideas that embody the notion of Breaking Boundaries. Every day there are new boundaries to be broken as discoveries are made in science, medicine, and engineering and new people push for radical change in their societies across the world. From the child that learns to walk, the scientists that discovers a new planet with potential life, the chef that creates new flavours in food, and the doctor that finds another workaround to save a life. We are surrounded every day by boundaries and as humans are uniquely placed to act as conduits to break them. We push harder and farther until the limits of our imagination are not constrained by the physical world anymore and become established reality. You can see the trailer for Breaking Boundaries below.

This year’s TEDxGoodenoughCollege is double the size of previous years and all tickets are completely sold out. If you do not have a ticket however, you can watch the event via the live stream here: livestream.com/TEDx/TEDxGoodenoughCollege2016
