Goodenough College has again been recognised in the 2016 National Student Housing Survey. The College has retained the prestigious International Accommodation Quality Mark for the fourth year running and been awarded Best Specialist Accommodation for the second year in a row.
The National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK. The survey, running since 2007, measures satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation and allows participating institutions to measure their performance against national and regional benchmarks. The 2016 survey attracted more than 33,000 responses from more than 200 universities and colleges across the UK.
The International Accommodation Quality Mark is awarded to organisations which achieve at least a 90% positive satisfaction rating from international students. The award for Best Specialist Accommodation is presented to the highest rated specialist, unusual or selective student accommodation.
Goodenough College Director Andrew Ritchie said:
"The National Student Housing Survey awards are important to us as they are based on the opinions of our students. It wonderful to see that so many of them are so positive about their Goodenough experience."
