Goodenough College is deeply saddened to report that one of our members Stefania Barichello died at the College late last week.
Stefania joined the College in September 2014 whilst studying for a doctorate in International Refugee Law at the School of Advanced Studies. She immediately established herself as an energetic and much-loved contributor to the College community. Elected to the Members Council in 2015-16 as Alumni Officer and again for 2016-17 as Chair of London House, she took part in an enormous range of College events and activities.
Stefania was the College’s official Photographer-in-Residence and edited the 2015-16 Yearbook. She was an active member of the Academic Committee and helped organise last year’s successful joint conference with the Trudeau Foundation on global citizenship, a subject close to her heart.
Alumni and friends are invited to join College members and staff at a gathering to remember and celebrate Stefania’s life on Wednesday 15th March at 8pm in the London House Large Common Room. A book of memories has been opened in the College Chapel. Messages for inclusion can be sent to email@example.com
The thoughts and prayers of all members, staff and alumni who make up the College community are with Stefania’s family and friends at this tragic time.
