At the 2017 awards on 6th September 2017 the College retained the International Accommodation Quality Mark for the fifth year running and was awarded Best Specialist Accommodation for the third year in a row.

The International Accommodation Quality Mark is awarded to organisations which achieve a positive satisfaction rating of 90% or higher from international students. The award for Best Specialist Accommodation is presented to the highest rated specialist, unusual or selective student accommodation provider.

The National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK. The survey, running since 2007, measures satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation and allows participating institutions to measure their performance against national and regional benchmarks. The 2017 survey attracted over 35,000 responses from more than 200 universities and colleges across the UK.
