Life
Goodenough College is much more than just a place to live. It is truly an academic community whose members live together for up to three years depending on the nature of their studies. Around 60% of the membership is engaged in Masters Degrees with the balance undertaking PhDs or specialist training. The College is best known for its thriving extra-curricular programme embracing intellectual, cultural, social and sporting activities, set within some of the finest college buildings and spaces in London.
Goodenough College is the ideal place to live as a family during your study. There are designated facilities for children and parents maintain a social network to make family life in the College a great experience.
*William Goodenough House will be closed for the 2011/2012 academic year during which there will be no family accommodation available. Accommodation for couples and families will be available again from Autumn 2012. We welcome applications from families in Spring 2012 to join us in Autumn 2012 when there will be an increased number of flats and studios available.
The College also has a very active Members Council which is elected yearly from the member body by the members and meets monthly. Its function is to advocate for members and facilitate communication between members and staff.
