PhD in Ancient Greek Oratory and Law at UCL, and Chair of the Goodenough College Members' Council
I chose Goodenough for many reasons. It is safe and busy with different kinds of activities and events, with a huge number of clubs and societies. It has a diverse student community, excellent facilities and a prime central location, right in the heart of Bloomsbury.
It’s not a typical student hall; it's much more than that. It's a residential college and the diversity and the sense of community of its Members makes it unique.
I was elected London House Chair last year. This great experience was the catalyst for taking up my new role as Chair of the Members’ Council.
I very much enjoy working with other Members in the Council and members of staff to make life in the College better for everyone, helping to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and productive year in the College. As Chair of the Members’ Council, I have the opportunity to make an even more significant contribution.
