About Us

Goodenough College is London’s finest postgraduate residential community. We provide award-winning student accommodation in the heart of London.

We are an educational charity where the brightest minds come together in one community. Our Members are encouraged to share their talents, knowledge and experience, contributing to a stimulating programme of cultural, social and academic activities which is open to all.

Over the last 90 years, Goodenough College has offered talented postgraduates from all over the world a supportive community in which to live, study and access outstanding opportunities. Since its inception, Goodenough College has given its Members the chance to make global connections while learning, to share cultural and social experiences and to benefit from the strength found in mutual support. Our legacy is seen in the impact our Alumni have had, and continue to have, in communities and countries across the globe.

Now, looking to the future, we will build upon these strong foundations to achieve a clearly defined vision and mission:

Our Vision

A fellowship of global citizens with shared values of tolerance, respect, understanding, service and togetherness (reflecting the spirit of the UK and the principles of the Commonwealth).

Our Mission

To create a stimulating, inclusive and mutually supportive residential community in the heart of London where outstanding postgraduate students exchanges ideas, openly debate values and form lasting friendships.

Our Strategic Plan (2020-2025) outlines three key objectives and seven enabling objectives which will help us to achieve our ambitions for the College, our Members and our global Alumni network.

Goodenough College, as a provider of employment and student accommodation, values the diversity of our staff and Members. We are committed to providing a fair, equitable and mutually supportive environment where all are equally valued and respected. We aim to create an environment that enables staff and Members to achieve their full potential, contribute fully and derive maximum benefit and enjoyment from their involvement in College life. We recognise we have a responsibility to embrace diversity, challenge unfair practices and oppose all forms of discrimination.

Goodenough College believes all employees and Members have the right to be free from harassment and bullying of any description, whether based on race, nationality, ethnic origin, sex, sexuality, age marital or civil partnership status, gender, transgender, disability, religion or belief.
