Members excel again during the College’s Music Week
Goodenough College Members celebrated the memory of Christopher George Argyris during Music Week, which took place at the College on 11-15 February and continued in the Czech Republic on 16-18 February.
From a Mozart piano recital to Schubert’s Winterreise song cycle, an Opera Gala to a Valentine’s Concert; and finally a Piano Gala by candlelight – Goodenough College Members gave an array of marvellous live music performances during the Christopher George Argyris Music Week on 11- 15 February. The Music Week even continued in the Czech Republic, in Brno, where a group of lucky College Members attended a Dean’s seminar on Opera.
The College’s Music Week – open to College Members and Alumni – is supported by the generosity of The Argyris Fund which was established in memory of Goodenough Alumnus Christopher George Argyris by his parents George and Marcia Argyris. Christopher was a Goodenough College Member during 2015-2019 and at that time he was heavily involved in the Dean’s Programme and devoted to opera in College.
