Thank you for supporting Giving Day
We are delighted that this year’s annual Giving Day was a great success raising nearly £110,000 from 280 donors across the world.

For 36 hours on Monday and Tuesday 20-21 November, the whole Goodenough community joined together in support of our College. The focus of this year’s day was creating opportunity through Scholarships, and we cannot thank our Alumni enough for supporting the campaign.
One of the highlights this year, was the degree to which the wider College Membership also supported Giving Day, from the fantastic, livestreamed concert of Messiaen’s ‘Quartet for the End of Time’ and the efforts of the Contemporary Art Club in raising over £525 selling works of art to the Bake sale which raised nearly £300. Lots of other College societies also got involved, including the (very early morning) Runners, the Coders, the Drinkers and Thinkers, the Belly Dancers, and the Writers – showing their support and giving a glimpse of current life on Mecklenburgh Square.
If you would still like to make a donation in support of Giving Day, please do so through our special website. Every contribution will help support a Scholar in the 2024-25 cohort, allowing us to provide financial support for students from lower income backgrounds and ensuring we continue to offer a truly diverse community for the benefit of all our Members.
