Accreditation and awards

Goodenough College is proud to have been the recipient of many awards for our high-quality accommodation and our commitment to championing diversity in education.

We were delighted to be awarded Platinum Certification for the second consecutive year in the Global Student Living Awards 2024.

The Global Student Living Awards are based on direct feedback from thousands of students at universities and colleges across the UK and Europe. With no written nominations and no ‘expert’ judges, the Global Awards (and the previous National Awards) are uniquely credible and highly prized.

Goodenough has an amazing history with these award schemes, having won the Best Specialist Housing Award every year of the award from 2013 -2023, an incredible achievement given the range of student accommodation on offer throughout the UK and Ireland.

Goodenough College was recently listed as the finalist in the Property Week’s Student Accommodation Awards 2024  – in the Private Halls of Residence category.

The College was also awarded ‘Accommodation Provider of the Year’ at the global 2020 PIEoneer Awards, an award that recognised our work in supporting our Members through the pandemic. The PIEoneer Awards are the only awards highlighting innovation and achievement across the international education industry. The College was shortlisted for the Award against stiff competition, including International Student House of Washington, USA, and MyStay International in Australia, both of which were Highly Commended by the judging panel.

In 2020, the College was also singled out for a ‘Highly Commended’ Award in the Student Accommodation Operator of the Year category in the prestigious RESI Awards organised by Property Week.

All Goodenough College accommodation complies with the National Code for Assured Accommodation. We are also members of London Affordable Student Accommodation Network (LASAN), UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), Association for Student Residential Accommodation (ASRA), Association of Managers of Student Services in Higher Education (AMOSSHE) and Nightline. Key College staff are certified First Aiders, and other staff are Mental Health First Aiders, in addition to having a member of staff with responsibility for Safeguarding.
