Alumni accommodation

The College offers Alumni a range of discounted accommodation options.

We are pleased to announce that, due to the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions, the College is now able to offer Alumni a range of short-stay and sublet accommodation.

Until demand for London hotel accommodation improves The Mecklenburgh on Goodenough Square hotel will remain temporarily closed, but guests who are willing to observe the College’s COVID-safe measures are welcome to book rooms in College.

Alumni are also now able to book sublets, using Goodenough Global, our new community networking site. You should have received an email invitation (on 26 May) inviting you to join Goodenough Global but, if not, please contact

Sublets are offered by Members while they are away from the College and they are only offered to Alumni of the College or family or personal friends of current Members.

Sublets are available for stays of up to two weeks (14 days). Please visit Goodenough Global to see what rooms are available and to submit your enquiry.

An Alumni discount code is available from our Alumni team on and can be used to gain special rates at our hotel and for sabbatical and short-stay accommodation at the College.

COVID-safe measures

The College is not able to accept bookings from guests who need to isolate because of COVID symptoms or who are required to complete a period of mandatory travel isolation. Guests staying at the College will be encouraged to have a lateral flow test within 24 hours of arrival or to collect one from Reception to take soon after arrival. All guests are encouraged to complete an arrival questionnaire. Any short-stay or sublet guest should contact the College Reception if they become unwell and staff will help them to isolate.

While staying at Goodenough, guests are expected to follow the COVID-19 safety rules in place in and around the College.
