Short-stay at Goodenough College
Due to the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions, the College is now able to offer a range of short-stay accommodation.
Until demand for London hotel accommodation improves The Mecklenburgh on Goodenough Square hotel will remain temporarily closed, but guests who are willing to observe the College’s COVID-safe measures are welcome to book rooms in College.
Goodenough’s short-stay accommodation includes a variety of rooms and flats, ranging from single rooms with shared bathrooms to three-bedroom flats, with prices starting from £60.
Short-stay guests are able to access College facilities such as the Great Hall, butteries (shared kitchens for self-catering), the Mecklenburgh Square garden, laundry and other facilities (following COVID-19 safety rules). Guests who are staying over two months will also be able to create a profile on “The Square” to find out about and book Goodenough College Member events.
The College is not able to accept bookings from guests who need to isolate because of COVID symptoms or who are required to complete a period of mandatory travel isolation. Guests will be encouraged to have a lateral flow test within 24 hours of arrival or to collect one from Reception to take soon after arrival. All guests are encouraged to complete an arrival questionnaire. Any short-stay or sublet guest should contact Reception if they become unwell and staff will help them to isolate.
While staying at Goodenough, guests are expected to follow the COVID-19 safety rules in place in and around the College.
