Goodenough College is a not-for-profit organisation with a special history and ethos. We bring together Members from around the world, helping them to make friends, discover new interests and grow their professional networks, while experiencing everything London has to offer.

Choose your accommodation

We are proud to have won the Best Specialist Housing (UK & Ireland) Award in the 2022 Global Student Living Awards.

All of our accommodation has access to superb study spaces; subsidised restaurant, café and bar facilities and self-catering kitchens; private gardens; social activities; pastoral care and much more.

Our rents include heating, hot water and wifi and we don’t have fixed term contracts so you can change your arrival and departure dates at any time with only 28 days’ notice. See the Rents Information (bottom of page) for more information on our charges.

The application process

Goodenough is famous for providing Members with a vibrant social life alongside opportunities to take part in a wide range of academic events and activities. We strive to nurture a diverse and balanced academic community.

To achieve this, we look for applicants from a range of academic disciplines and nationalities and we assess your potential contribution to College life through a selective competitive application process.

We ask for a personal statement which outlines what you might be able to bring and contribute to the richly diverse community here at Goodenough College, so that everyone has an enriching and unique experience. Please read through our Accommodation and Student Life information before you apply.

How to apply to Goodenough College

Goodenough accommodation is very popular, so you need to apply soon. Before you do, check out our hints and tips on how to complete your application. In addition to personal details (contact details, etc) you’ll be asked to upload:

• A recent photo which will be used on your ID when you join (please smile!)
• A recent short CV or resumé
• An offer letter for the course you intend to study
