The College’s charitable mission is to create a stimulating, inclusive and supportive residential community.

Additionally, the College carries out commercial activities through the 4* Goodenough Hotel, London; through its Events and Venue Hire Business ‘Goodenough House’; and provides catering services to our resident Members and commercial guests.  The commercial activities (co-located on Mecklenburgh Square) make a substantial financial contribution to the charitable activities of the College to encourage and assist the education of our Members.

The College is now seeking a Deputy Soft FM Manager to assist the team in managing substantial outsourced commercial contracts delivering high-quality services in catering, housekeeping, portering, waste, linen management and laundry. The role also has responsibility for assisting the Soft FM Manager in the management of health and safety, other statutory compliance and sustainability initiatives.

Applicants should have demonstrable experience within soft services and have conducted audits in cleaning and catering. They should be knowledgeable of current health and safety, food safety and hygiene, and other relevant standards and legislations. Applicants must have proven operational and client-contractor experience ideally from a catering and housekeeping background within hospitality, hotel industry or private healthcare.
