Goodenough College is an educational charity, providing accommodation to international postgraduate students (we call them members) and their families in a friendly and collegiate setting. The College’s charitable mission is to create a stimulating, inclusive and supportive residential community. The College offers a variety of accommodation options to Members.
The College is now looking for a detail-oriented individual to join its busy finance team of six as a Finance Officer.
As a Finance Officer, you will be the first point of contact for financial enquiries from Members and expected to perform a variety of financial tasks. This role involves processing damage deposit funds, monitoring, raising and reviewing monthly invoices, reconciling accounts receivable ledgers and effective credit control to reduce outstanding debts.
You must have previous experience of working in a finance office environment of a similar size. You should be comfortable using data to complete daily finance tasks and is confident user in Excel and other relevant financial software. Working in finance requires high accuracy and attention to detail.
The College will support you to pursue a relevant account qualification, including meeting the cost and paid study/exam leave. You will also receive assistance from qualified colleagues to assist in your study.

Given that this role is member-facing, regular presence in the college is expected and you can work from home only on Fridays.
