Nestled in the heart of the historic Bloomsbury district, The Goodenough Hotel is a sophisticated, luxury hotel steeped in history dating back to the 19th century. Set within five Georgian townhouses, The Goodenough Hotel offers a peaceful sanctuary a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of London life. The Goodenough Hotel has strong ties with Goodenough College and plays a major role in the financial stability of the educational charity.
The hotel is now looking for a Receptionist to work on a rota basis, working four days on and four days off. Working days would include weekends and bank holidays. The shift pattern involves working hours between 8am to 8pm.
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating an environment which makes guests feel welcome by offering a professional and friendly full front of House service. You will also be providing administrative support to the reservation teams.
Applicants must have relevant experience as a receptionist in a hotel or corporate environment, be fluent in written and spoken English and able to demonstrate excellent customer service. Due to the layout of the hotel across five Georgian townhouses, there are no lifts in operation. As part of the role involves assisting guests with their luggage upon arrival, applicants must be able to carry baggage up to four floors.

This role attracts a salary of £31,007 per annum and free meals when on shift.
