Nestled in the heart of the historic Bloomsbury district, The Goodenough Hotel London is a sophisticated, luxury hotel steeped in history dating back to the 19th century. Set within five Georgian townhouses, The Hotel offers a peaceful sanctuary a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of London life. The Hotel has strong ties with Goodenough College and plays a major role in the financial stability of the educational charity.

The Hotel is now looking for a Receptionist to work five days out of seven on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. The shift pattern involves working between 7.00am – 3.00pm or 3.00pm – 11.00pm.

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating an environment which makes guests feel welcome by offering a professional and friendly full front of House service. You will also be providing administrative support to the reservations team.

Applicants must have relevant experience as a receptionist in a hotel or corporate environment, be fluent in written and spoken English and able to demonstrate excellent customer service. Due to the layout of the Hotel, across five Georgian townhouses, there is no lift in operation. Applicants must therefore be capable of carrying out portage services over the four floors.

This role attracts a salary of £28,450 per annum and 26.5 days annual leave. To apply, please submit your CV and a short cover letter, telling us how you meet the required person specification for the role, to Zakiyah Kihl, email: jobs@goodenough.ac.uk

This recruitment is ongoing, and we reserve the right to shortlist and interview applicants who meet the necessary requirements for the role. The vacancy will close once the position has been filled.

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK.
