Memorial Service for Chris Argyris

There will be a memorial service for College Alum Chris Argyris (LH 2015-2019), who sadly passed away in January this year. This celebration of his life on the Square will take place on 1 April at 6.30pm GMT in the College Chapel and all are welcome to attend either in-person or via zoom

The College Dean, The Revd Alan McCormack, pays tribute to Chris’s life at Goodenough College:

Alum Christopher Argyris (LH 2015-2019) made a deep and lasting impression on the life of Goodenough College. He distinguished himself by his enthusiastic and committed attendance at many events within the Dean’s Programme. From cycling to skiing, from Port Talks to Dean’s Seminars, Christopher was the archetypal ‘College man’, always representing the best of us with dedication, humour and élan.

Christopher will long be remembered by his peers and by me as someone who devoted his time to the framing of the Bloomsbury Opera, and his contribution to the College’s Mozart cycle of recent years was quite simply immense. I am greatly saddened by his most untimely death, and extend my sincerest condolences to his family.

“We are the stories that we tell, and the stories that are told of us”: Christopher touched many lives in London and at Goodenough, and his legacy lives on in the affectionate memories we have of him.

All are welcome to attend the memorial service either in-person (register here) or via zoom (meeting ID: 818 0724 8661, passcode: 303105)
