After gaining admission to Birkbeck, the next most difficult thing for me was finding accommodation to suit my budget (very low). Following a lot of research on finding accommodation, I discovered Goodenough College on the Birkbeck accommodation webpage. I am so grateful I stumbled on that page, because it was the beginning of the end of my success story.

If you want a place to stay, sharpen your skills and a community to be a part of, then Goodenough College is the answer.

My Scholarship from Goodenough College has helped me in diverse ways, from making it possible for me to live so centrally, to contributing to making schooling abroad less stressful in terms of finances, to being a part of a community.

All these benefits,  gained as a Member of Goodenough College, would not have been possible without the Scholarship since I would not have been able to afford to stay here. I am very grateful to everyone who made it possible for my stay here at the College to become a reality and to the scholarship panel for believing that I am ‘goodenough’ for the Scholarship. Thanks to all who contributed towards the Scholarship Fund, you have touched a soul, you have changed my story, thank you. To Members and staff, I appreciate you all.
