Fiona Wilkinson

College Trustee

Fiona Wilkinson became a member of the College’s Audit Committee in 2020 and the Chair thereof and a member of the Board of Trustees in February 2023.  She is also a Board member of the College’s trading subsidiaries and was elected as a Fellow of the Economic and Business Faculty in 2022.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and has held/holds senior roles in her profession, having been President of ICAEW and Chair of its Board from 2019 to 2020, being only the third female to hold that role since the ICAEW received its Royal Charter in 1880.  She has held other senior roles in her profession such as Chair of the ICAEW’s Professional Standards Board, Chair of its Ethics Advisory Committee and Chair of its Diversity Advisory Group.  She is currently a Board member of the International Federation of Accountants, based in New York, and chairs its Public Policy and Regulatory Advisory Group.

Fiona is an alumna of Royal Holloway College, University of London from where she graduated with a degree in French with Italian; she was appointed an Honorary Fellow of the College in 2021.  She is a former member of the Court (Board) of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants and was appointed a Freeman of the City of London in 2019.
