Non-Governing Fellow
Graham has served, both in the UK and overseas, in the private, public and charitable sectors. Becoming an Ex-Officio Governor of Goodenough College for 2000/01, from 2004 to 2023 he served the College as an Elected Governor, Trustee and Board Member, President of the Advisory Council, Audit Committee Chair and Chair of two of its subsidiaries. He was elected as a Non-Governing Fellow in 2022.
Graham was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers, including being Chairman of their World Utilities Group. In addition he has held a number of senior roles in the UK. These include: President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Auditor of The Duchy of Cornwall, Founding Chief Commissioner of the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (where he reported directly to Parliament), and Director of the UK Civil Aviation Authority. He also served as President of the International Federation of Accountants, Vice Chair of the World Energy Council and Vice Chair of the UK-India Business Council.
Graham is a Fellow of Dulwich College and a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. His past charitable involvements include: Governor and Chair of the Finance Committee of Dulwich College, Financial Adviser to St Paul’s Cathedral and Member of the 2013/14 Lord Mayor’s Appeal Committee.
Graham was appointed CBE in the 2004 Birthday Honours, for services to exports.
He was educated at Dulwich College and Jesus College, Oxford (MA, Captain of Oxford University Amateur Boxing Club). He also is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Fellow of the Energy Institute, Companion of the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
