Grahame Davies became a Fellow of Goodenough College in 2004, a Governor in 2013, Chairman of the Academic Committee in 2017, Trustee in 2019, Vice-President of the Advisory Council in 2020 and a Non-Governing Fellow in 2022.
Grahame has an Honours Degree in English Literature from Anglia Ruskin University (1985), a PhD from Cardiff University (1997) and an Honorary D Litt from Anglia Ruskin University (2010). He has been a Member of the Royal Household since 2012 and is Deputy Private Secretary to The Prince of Wales. Previously, he spent 27 years in journalism and the media, including at the BBC where he was News Editor for Wales. As a poet, librettist, novelist and literary critic, Grahame is the author of 18 books, most recently Real Cambridge (2021), and a winner of the Wales Book of the Year Award. He was made a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order in the Birthday Honours of 2020.
