Meredith Pierce Hunter

Trustee and Governor of Goodenough College

Meredith joined the Board of Goodenough College as a Governor in March 2020. She is also a member of the EDI and Ethical Fundraising committees of the Board. Meredith has extensive experience of major gifts, alumni relations, international fundraising, and institutional support. Having left her career in higher education in 2017, Meredith was inspired to join the College as a Governor to maintain this connection to Goodenough’s Alumni community. Meredith holds dual American and British citizenship and has her BA (International Relations/French) and MBA from the US.

Meredith is currently the director of the Kew Foundation, the charitable arm of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew where she oversees the membership and philanthropic fundraising programmes. Prior to joining Kew in 2017, Meredith’s previous roles were as Director of Development and Alumni Relations at London Business School; Vice President of External Relations at Hollins University; and Director of Advancement and Planning, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies at Harvard University.
