Non-Governing Fellows

The College's Board of Trustees is made up of Governing Fellows who provide strategic oversight, governance and accountability for the College’s activities. They are supported by Non-Governing Fellows, distinguished individuals in their fields of expertise, who contribute to the College’s enrichment programme and act as the College’s proponents and partners in a range of activities.

The College benefits from the interest and attention of many elected ‘Fellows’ through its five academic faculties.

The Fellows are women and men of entire distinction who give of their time freely to support and encourage the Members. They take part in talks, trips and seminars and attend many College events. They often work with the Dean to arrange exclusive external opportunities for Members. The Fellows help to create that unique intellectual environment for which the College is renowned internationally.

Current Fellows include Sir Paul Nurse FRS (Scientist and Nobel Laureate); The Rt Hon The Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE (formerly President of the UK Supreme Court), Professor Patrick Vernon OBE (Social Commentator and Founder of the 100 Great Black Britons Campaign) and Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE, DL (businessman and Life Peer in the House of Lords).
