Good Skills Week – call for volunteers

The College's Good Skills Week is taking place on 16-21 May and we're looking for volunteers who can share their skills, knowledge and expertise with Members

We have plenty of interesting opportunities for volunteers to take part in the College’s Good Skills Week (16-21 May).

The event includes an informal drop-in careers networking session on the afternoon of Saturday 21 May between 2-5pm. We are looking for Alumni to share their specialist sector knowledge and insights with current Members, to help them transition from postgraduate studies to the workplace. We hope to cover a range of key industries, such as law, data/technology, management consulting, medical research, architecture/urban planning, music, the civil service, economics and journalism.

We’re also looking for two volunteers to run a 60-minute careers workshop for a small group of Members from 6-7pm, on either Tuesday 17 May or Wednesday 18 May. Sessions could be based around any number of themes , such as communication / presenting, writing skills, managing others or  interview techniques or around a specific sector, such as following a career in academia.

If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to hear from you, so please send an email to alumni@goodenough.ac.uk and include your area of work and which event is of interest.

We hope to see you soon!
