Emeritus Governor Eric Tracey awarded Honorary Doctorate of Business

Eric Tracey, D.Bus (Hon)–Emeritus Governor and former Chairman of Goodenough College–has been recognised by the University of Auckland with an Honorary Doctorate of Business, awarded last month. The distinction acknowledges his exceptional professional achievements, longstanding public service, and significant philanthropic contributions.
In its citation, the University praised Tracey for his dedicated public service and philanthropic contributions, as well as for his leadership, his sustained support of its work, and the meaningful relationships he has fostered across the institution and wider community. The University noted that the award of an honorary degree is one of its most important ways of recognising those who have made a significant contribution to its work and to the communities it serves.
