Goodenough College summer Alumni events
This year we were delighted to see Goodenough Alumni from around the world coming together to enjoy an especially rich programme of events for Alumni Week 2026.
Alumni Reunion from the 1990s
The College was pleased to be able to host the College’s first-ever Early and Mid-1990s Reunion, bringing together Alumni from across the globe. Former residents travelled from Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Barbados, Denmark and elsewhere in Europe to reconnect with friends and revisit their College memories.
In partnership with Alumni Week, the programme of events kicked off with a trip to The Burn and provided plenty of opportunities to catch up and celebrate shared experiences including a welcome tea and tour of the College and an informal lunch at the iconic Ciao Bella.

Alumni Summer Party
A highlight of Alumni Week was the ever-popular Summer Party, which welcomed more than 200 Alumni back to the College. Bringing together members of our global community, the event created a vibrant atmosphere as friends reunited, memories were shared, and new connections were made.
It was particularly wonderful to see Alumni travelling from across the world to join the celebrations, with many planning special trips to London specifically for the occasion. The Summer Party once again demonstrated the strength of the Goodenough network and the enduring affection that members of our Alumni community hold for the College.
Alumni Formal Hall
Another Alumni Week highlight was Formal Hall, which brought together 80 Alumni and current Members in the Great Hall for an evening of dining by candlelight.
As conversations flowed around the tables, Alumni were able to relive fond memories and enjoy one of the aspects of College life that many remember most warmly – coming together over a meal, or as the College Dean often says – commensality!
The evening was a fitting celebration of the friendships, connections, and sense of community that continue to define the Goodenough experience long after graduation.
