David Bulman

David Bulman is both an Alumnus of the College and member of the Board of Trustees. He joined as a Trustee in September 2022, and currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which he has held since September 2019.

Dave has led digital transformations across a range of sectors. Before joining Cambridge Assessment, he was Chief Technology Officer at Bourne Leisure, the UK holiday company that includes Butlins. He has also worked as CIO of Virgin Atlantic Airways, where his achievements included creating a new innovation function that introduced industry firsts such as wearables at check-in. He has also served as Digital Director at News UK, responsible for the relaunch of both The Times and The Sun websites.

Dave has a BSc from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from London Business School.
