How to get to CSSD from Goodenough College

Travelling to and from CSSD’s main campus to Goodenough College is straightforward.  It is 5.3km away, so will take over an hour to walk.  But it is close to mainline train stations, the Underground and several main bus routes.

Campus location

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s main campus is located in Swiss Cottage, within the borough of Camden in North London; an area which is being redeveloped as a ‘civic and cultural quarter’ which includes a new extension building for the school, replacing 1960s accommodation.

The campus is in London’s NW3 postcode, right by Swiss Cottage tube station and near to such landmarks as Regent’s Park, Hampstead Heath, Abbey Road Studios, the Hampstead Theatre and Camden Market.  It has six fully-functioning performance spaces, with the iconic 234-seat Embassy Theatre at its centre.

CSSD has an additional campus, Central Bankside Studios, which is located on London’s vibrant Southbank.  This prime location is a stone’s throw from the River Thames and just around the corner from the legendary Shakespeare’s Globe.

With quick and easy transport links across London, both campuses are conveniently located within easy reach of many of the capital’s main attractions and activities.
