Thank you to everyone who took part in Goodenough Giving Day 2021!

Over 36 hours on 17-18 November 2021 the College called on its fantastic Alumni community and supporters to come together for a 36-hour celebration of connecting and giving with the Goodenough family around the world.

Seeing the Goodenough College global community rallying together so generously behind Giving Day was wonderful and we have been amazed by the community spirit our Alumni demonstrated in support of our current and future Members. Over the two days we raised over £135,000, including Gift Aid,  from over 300 generous donors to support three College projects:

  • Supporting the  Goodenough College Scholarship Fund – to help the next generation of talented postgraduates to achieve their dreams of studying in London
  • Helping the College to deliver its exceptional package of wellbeing support for our student Members
  • Enabling the College to improve its environmental footprint and become more sustainable, through our LED lighting project.

Thanks to generous donors, Match and Challenge Funding was available throughout the Giving Day period. That meant there were opportunities for gifts to be matched, doubling their impact, and for the College to unlock significant pots of money through collective actions.
