Understanding different religions

Members are given the opportunity to cultivate interfaith literacy through talks, trips and personal encounters.

At Goodenough College, all Members are free to practise their religious faith and express their beliefs. The College actively encourages faith communities to come together for worship and to celebrate festivals. We provide an open and welcoming environment where faith communities can connect, collaborate and worship freely.

Recent examples of inter-faith activity include Shabbat meals, Diwali firework celebrations, Iftar gatherings during Ramadan, and Easter egg hunts. Goodenough Members also enjoy access to a wide range of Member-led clubs and societies that reflect diverse faiths and beliefs. In addition, the College’s talks and events provide opportunities to learn more and share different faith practices and cultural traditions.

The College chapel
Located within the College, the Chapel of St Augustine of Canterbury is open all the time to Members of all faiths and none. It offers a quiet space for reflection and spiritual contemplation.
