Naming opportunities

Play a leadership role at this landmark moment in Goodenough College's history.

Dedicate a Member room

There will be 60 rooms across the five houses.

A gift of £15,000 will fund a Member bedroom, whether as a single gift or as three annual donations of £5,000 or five annual donations of £3,000. Your gift can be reduced further through tax-efficient giving.

Recognition

If you would like your gift to be acknowledged publicly, each room will have a named plaque at its entrance.

All those who dedicate a room or name a flat will be invited to a series of events to mark the completion of the campaign and the opening of 43-47 Mecklenburgh. It is very much hoped that our Patron, King Charles III, will officially open the buildings in the autumn of 2026.

Name a flat

Flats within 43-46 are also available to be named. There are 16 flats in total available. Each flat will provide modern, sustainable accommodation with private bedrooms and shared bathroom and living spaces where Members can come together to share meals and socialise.

Recognition

Each flat generously supported will be named by the Donor. All naming rights are expected to last for a minimum of twenty-five years or until the asset is substantially changed or in need of renewal.

Your name will also be included on the Donor Board in the entrance of the house as a long-term record of your gift.

Flats are available for naming at various donation levels from £30,000 to £100,000:

Garden Flat (3 bedrooms)

Ground Floor Flat (1 bedroom)

First Floor Flat (1 bedroom)

Second and Third Floor Flat (6 bedrooms)

All gifts can be made as a single gift or as annual donations spread over five years.

Name a house

Room to Grow supports the restoration of five Georgian Terrace houses. We are delighted that two houses are already supported, and we still have three houses available to be named.

Each house will cost approximately £1.75m to refurbish. As the College has committed to cover roughly half of the cost of renovation, we are looking for a commitment of around £900,000 for a House to be named.

These gift payments can be scheduled over a 5-year period.

To discuss the opportunity to name a house, get in touch and I will be pleased to tell you more.
